Razah is a unique situation... ok here is the skinny on him... And the reason he is hard to get rightfully so.

1: His profession is a Factions profession unavailable to players of Nightfall only.
2: As such his skills that are unlockable with hero points are EXTRA normally unavailable skills to nightfall only owners.
3: Unlike the assassin hero you have no requirement to own factions to get him. Although now I think of it, The assassin hero MAY be in the end game area, but you may not be able to talk to him without owning Factions. Not sure on that one...
4: Razah is not very useful if you do not also have factions as not many skills will be available for him and without Factions there is not many ways to unlock more for him. So if your a nightfall only person he is not really that useful except as a status symbol.

Now thats just my opinion. But when you look at him like that the Rituralist hero is defiantly a Bonus character for Nightfall owners that they would not normally have unless they also had Factions. So I think its very interesting that they give you access to him at all without having to go to Cantha to get him.

Think about it, the Necro Olias from Lions Arch are bonus in nightfall for people owning Prophecies, as is the assassin from Factions. Without those games you would not have a necro hero for a LONG time in nightfall. And possibly not at all if you choose the magrid route. So having those are Benefits to owning all the chapters. Razah on the other hand is not Dependant on that. So it really does make since in the end.

I always thought the Prophecies hero should have been a Charr, and the Canthan hero a Tengu, but that was me. IT would have just added a new dimension to those unique heroes. and Razah an undead since from torment, which he almost is actually...

I've turned getting Razah into a personal mini-game.

I set myself the goal of getting Razah without ever farming/questing in DoA and not losing any gold on it either. After 3 weeks of hanging around the Gates of Anguish a few minutes a day, buying gemstones cheap and auctioning them off for a huge profit, I own one Razah, several of each gemstone and made a considerable monetary profit on top.

great. i dont wanna powertrade to get a hero everybody should own. imho completing factions and nightfall should be enough to get the rit hero. he is not god, just another class.

Well, you know... I'd rather spend 10-15 minutes per day (that's all it takes) trading a bit than spending any time at all playing DoA.

It's not as if there are any other options right now.

I've been doing something to get Razah instead of just posting my displeasure on these forums. (I tried that weeks ago and it got me nowhere.) Guess what? Right now, I have Razah on my first character that made it through the game. Even if nothing changes, at least 2 more of my characters can grab him. (I'll hang on to my gems for the time being though. Should Razah become available without the gemstones, I'm buying coffers.)

I'm still holding out hope that they'll give us a rit that I can use to actually play the game with, instead of getting him after the game is over.

It is bad enough waiting until the game is half over to get Morgahn. This is ridiculous.

Have to agree.I really would like to run him thru the main part of the game.It would be good to have him in a team as you start Elonia.For me PVE is about the whole game not just the end of it.

Well, it would be great if they changed it abit on how you receive razah because it is almost like farming for greens if you are not the right class you will barely get a group to finish the missions, the missions to me are some times almost impossible to finish and then once again you have people that are able to camp out and farm for the stones to gain access and they sit there overcharging people for them, to a point I myself stopped trying to get razah all together, to much time I have spent to get to the end game and then must fine people knit picking over who should be in a group to do four more missions to gain one hero.

QFT does seem rather pointless seeing as you've beaten both the game and DoA to get him without needing him at all for either which proves he's then about as much use to you as a chocolate teapot.

Even if Razah was made easier to get (plz plz PLZ), you can still brag about how you got him in DoA. Because i'm sure you screened the moment you got him, like I did.

But i'm all for making him easier to get. I've got him on my MONK, but I never use my monk... I want him on my Assassin, who has no place in DoA.

Same! Monks complain that one of the major problems with healing Assassins is that they have to overextend a lot of the time. Hero Monks don't complain - they just follow you through the worst of the mob.

...Hence Union and Shelter, a 'sin's best friend because they protect you at range.

I'm in the group that never plays with other humans. I've beat all three chapters with heros and henchies only. I don't think there should be any greater prize such as a hero that can't be gained solo.

She said she thought they might be looking at it. That's not a promise, far from it. If you're going to whine and complain about them not changing the game to suit you your every whim for free, at least try and make a little sense about it.
